Took my car there because the battery kept running down. They traced it to a problem with a wire associated with the remote start system. The remote start system remained activated even when the car was not running. Haven't had a problem since and it's been a few months. Good customer service and reasonably priced. Excellent, prompt service, always on schedule as promised. After recently replacing the strut assemblies on my RAV4, I noticed a significant improvement in my ride, including a smoother ride and more responsive steering. I’ve been equally satisfied with all past work as well. I’ve been trusting Tire Kings for all my automotive work for several years now and they always do a good job, perform only the servicing and repairs that are required, and identify upcoming issues before they develop into costlier repairs later. I've recently moved from Toronto to Calgary and shipped my car via Hansen's Forwarding (which I highly recommend too). Soon after arriving to Calgary, I found out that I need to do an "Out of Province" safety inspection. I had a great mechanic in Toronto which took excellent care of my car. Unfortunately, I did not know any mechanics in Calgary and was dreading finding one. I started doing research on mechanics in my area of Calgary (I used AMA's list of recommendations) and short-listed 4 of them. I then called them one by one and was getting quotes of way more than $200 (e.g. $280, $229). I was pleasantly surprised to hear $150 + tax from Tire Kings. I looked their reviews on Google and was impressed. I called on a Thursday late afternoon and was able to book an appointment early Tuesday morning the following week. Some others were booked weeks in advance. I came in and met Neil. He was very polite, courteous and very down-to-earth person. Very friendly too. My inspection took about a 2 hours or so. They found that my car battery needed to be replaced and one of my headlight bulbs needed to be replaced. Overall - pretty minor repairs. In the meantime, I was using their free WiFi and was able to get some work done while I was waiting. Overall, I am very impressed with Tire Kings and would definitely recommend them to others. I find them to be very honest and trust-worthy and easy to deal with. They did not try to rip me off or anything like that. If you need an Out of Province (or other kind of inspection), please check them out. I will be back here.read more

May 2022 - Service for Spark Plugs/synthetic oil change. I had an appointment for December 14th, 2021 8:30 am.He told me to take approximately 3 hours. I had to drop the truck off early and they had a key lock Box which was super convenient. The truck was done on time and Neil went through the full inspection report with me which was great and he had changed a light for me on my back license plate to pass the inspection. The price is extremely fair considering everyone else was quoting me $179 to $200 he only charged me $149 plus tax! I have a 2016 Sequoia Platinum that I purchased from Cochrane Toyota. Since my purchase I have always taken my vehicle back to the dealership for regular warranty maintenance as per the regular schedule. The past three scheduled visits back to the dealership, I have been told about “extra” items that need addressing outside of the maintenance schedule and, I have paid to have them fixed which resulted in a much higher bill than l originally anticipated. The last maintenance schedule, my rear windshield wiper arm was not working and after $1800 of “other repairs” Cochrane Toyota told me the arm is not part of my extended warranty and would cost me an additional $200 (on top of the $1800). I told them no. Because of my daughter, who is the Service Manager at Tire Kings, I brought my vehicle to them. Not only did they realize what was actually wrong with the rear wiper arm, they also pointed out a few things I paid for that were not working properly. End of the day, Tire Kings charged me a quarter of the cost for the wiper arm and installed my trust that I will only deal with them when I need upcoming work done on my vehicle. When it comes to vehicle maintenance and repair, you need someone you can speak with on laments terms and can trust. I found this service with Tire Kings and will use them for my maintenance going forward.read more

One of the things that sometimes it's a bit scary is when you go to the car mechanic and they might lead you to confusion just because you don not know much about cars (which is my case), and therefore you end up paying more that what you should. Got my E.L.V.I.S inspection for Uber, Seems like a great and honest shop. Will be doing business here again! This was two years ago Hit a curb recently so took my car back in, they got back on the road the cheapest possible way. Their price for new rims was the best I found in city which is crazy cause most shops seem to have insane mark up on parts. I elected to at least temporarily just move the slightly damaged rim to back and an alignment has got it running good for now. I'll still probably going to get new rims anyway, but I doubt many shops would have offered the cheaper fix as an option. Great honest shop!read more

Oh my goodness, I love Tire Kings. They are honest and fair and fairly priced. From start to finish the experience is always warm and inviting. It's very obvious I am a woman who knows nothing about mechanics, hut it's also obvious these gentlemen do not prey on that like a lot of other mechanic chains. Each time I visit the shop I bring my small dog with me, and they treat her like a valued customer also. I cannot say enough great things about these people and I don't anticipate another misconception of my vehicle, but I can't wait to see these gentleman again to properly and fairly accommodate me in any way that I need. Car trouble’s a pain in the butt. Especially when you’re at the mercy of a mechanic’s assessment, without any knowledge of your own. It used to stress me out, bouncing around from shop-to-shop, from one referral to a friends buddy etc. Then I found Tire Kings. Their office manager Tim is so knowledgeable and takes his time to review their findings; I never feel rushed. The owner Neil has an eidetic memory and remembers just what they’ve done on our vechicles over the years. They always fit us in right away, and have even brought someone in over a weekend to help us get out of town for vacation. Once our job ended up being much larger than we anticipated but they stuck to their quote of the smaller project. They know you by name and make crummy situations that much better. I recommend Tire Kings to all of our friends/family. They really are second to none.read more

This is BY FAR the best shop I've dealt with. My vehicle had some A/C issues. I took it in and they diagnosed, fixed and returned. I was recommended to this shop by a friend and have nothing but good things to say. I have a lowered modified car and they take extra care to make sure it is lifted properly and work around the modifications. I also have a brand new Jeep and they make sure it's serviced properly so I don't affect my warranty. Way better prices than the dealer and they're always honest about what my car actually needs, without trying to sell me extra services that I don't need. I would highly recommend this shop to take any vehicle to. The front desk person was very friendly and very knowledgeable.
